Our first speaker for CLC On-Line is Simon Goulden. In case you don’t know Simon, he is a long standing CNSS member, now residing in Finchley. He has written and edited a number of books and articles on Judaism, Jewish history and Israel including the green Sacks Siddur and for a long time had a regular Days Out In Israel spot in e-shofar.

Enlivened by his uniquely informative yet entertaining presentation style and some pictures of the places and personalities, Simon is leading us along A Street Map of Jewish History.

As he explains,

In Israel, everyone uses street names, but nobody pays attention to them. You probably know about David haMelech, but what about Ibn Gvirol?  This Zoom series of four talks will look at the men, women and groups who, throughout the millennia, have made Israel our spiritual home and still the amazing place it is today.
