Sir Thomas More is perhaps best known as the author of Utopia and as the man who was executed by King Henry VIII after refusing to acknowledge the annulment of his marriage to Catherine of Aragon.
What you may not know is that Thomas More is also credited with being the first writer to publish the phrase 'a penny for your thoughts'. The phrase dates back to at least 1522, and meant the same then as it does today.
With more than 14,000 loyal readers of this email every week, we'd like to offer two of you the chance to win five thousand pennies for your thoughts, or to put it more simply, the chance to win a £50 voucher in return for filling in this short survey.
We want to know what you think of You&US and how we can improve it. To say thank you for your time, two people will win a £50 voucher for a high street or online shop of their choice. The survey will take about five minutes to complete and will run until Sunday 20 February. Click here to complete it!
